I really enjoy documenting unexpected things. That’s not a new revelation, either. Throughout college I started (and completed many) projects within the realm of street photography. For those unfamiliar, street photography in its most basic form is the act of photographing (usually on a street or in a public space) whatever catches your eye and/or attention in a given moment. *I have plenty of material I can show you examples of, but this is not the topic of this post.

nature of the world while there is so much beauty to be found in spontaneity and in the routine of everyday life, there are plenty of occasions when a little structure can produce breathtaking photographs.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
